The breach is identified too late
The most frequent scenario is a trailer door left open longer than expected at a bay. The temperature rises for twenty minutes and comes back down. The logger reveals the spike only when someone downloads the data, already after the delivery, and the discussion then centres on responsibility.
For anyone delivering to customers with health requirements, the next challenge is documentary proof. A timestamped record per shipment is needed, available without reconstructing anything from memory.
